Last Tueday (3/18/25) the girls Soccer team kicked off their season with a fabulous win over Louisa. After going down 1-0 within the first 10 minutes, the Knights returned with a barrage of 5 goals before the half. After their talk with coach Todd Wieler the team kept the heat with another 4 goals securing their already iced game 9-1 by mercy rule with 19 minutes left in the second half. Kiley Jones and Juliana Pierce both scored 2 goals with the rest of the goals being spread out across the rest of the team. While the win was dominant and the game showed clearly that CHS is a force to be reckon with, Louisa has historically been an easy opponent and this win dosen’t give us a full view on the strength of the girls team. As they continue to dominate the Jefferson District we will really see what this team is made of.
