Date Ideas and Love Wisdom 

With Valentines Day coming right up, it is the perfect time to find a date to find a date for a nice little date. The first meeting is all about securing that second rendezvous between the two people. With the right venue, your chances can be increased significantly. I have actually heard that people think Charlottesville isn’t an intimate, romantic place but I respectfully disagree. I believe that love, true love, can be found anywhere and everywhere if you look hard enough and in this article I will be assisting the enamoured community by revealing some underrated, picturesque, charming environments in Charlottesville for the occasion.

Assuming that you’ve found a suitable and understanding partner, it is important to use your intuition and insight to coordinate an appropriate activity that would impress this significant other. Some people enjoy spending time in the great outdoors and some people dislike being taken on a date to get fast food, so it is very crucial to discover this information prior to organizing a date incase your crush might not enjoy it. However, if you do plan a bad date, you deserve someone that thinks you are good person with a lovely personality that should compensate. 

I asked Jaimin Ashra (12) where he would think the most people would go on a date in Charlottesville and he told me, “Downtown because it has lots of stuff to do, such as movies and food.” Violet Crown theater is towards the end of the mall near the murdered ice rink and it is a great destination for a date. Talking about movies is also an exceptional way to stir up a riveting conversation with someone. 

Asher Freedmann (11) had many extraordinary ideas for the perfect date location. He began to tell me, “You gotta go to multiple locations. Dinner. Movie. Walk in the park. That’s a walk in the park.” This is a common strategy that is very popular if you want a successful, well rounded date.  Changing locations by walking or driving elsewhere extends the date and provides more time for conversation and appreciaiton. 

There are other aspects of a date environment that are important as well.  Scenery and lighting are great examples of these aspects. The exact same Asher mentioned Fry Springs Station as a dinner location. “They have good lighting and they have trivia night if you like to learn about things in the world and whats happening around the world and the country.”  

For the more outdoorsy type of person. A nice date would be a hike on a mountain like Humpback or a walk at Sugar Hollow. Asher said “One time I was in the car and then we were driving to Humpback Rock and then we got there and did the hike and then we got to the top but then we had to walk back down and we had to get back in the car so we could drive home after.” For the more competitive and exciting date, I would recommend bowling at the lanes near Walmart (sometimes it is nice to let your date win). Another interesting recommendation for a date is a nice political rally to really align your moral beliefs with your beautiful companion. 

In conclusion, Charlottesville has potential and can be the pot that the plant of romance and affection will grow in for many years to come.
