March 1-7: The Student Athlete of the Week for the week of March 1st goes to junior, Ania Cafferillo! Ania helped the field hockey team to two wins, kicking off a perfect start to the season. As a forward, she picked up 2 goals in each game leading the knights to 5-0 and 7-0 wins over Louisa and Fluvanna, respectively. “I’m really grateful we get to have a season this year with Covid,” she commented.  While Ania gets the personal award, the whole field hockey team deserves a shoutout as our only Fall team to win all of their games so far.

March 8-14: The Student athlete of the Week for the week of March 8th goes to sophomore, Preston Burton! While the golf team lost by 20 points to Fluvanna, Preston had the best score of anyone on either team, shooting 4 under par! Even though he is only a sophomore, he is proving himself as the best golfer in the district, and planning on playing at a Division 1 school.
